The idea behind youngestblogger.com

Just after launch someone submitted Youngest Blogger to Digg - just when it got submitted, the votes keep pouring in right when someone left a negative comment.

Although, I couldn’t blame him because maybe he’s just helping his friend who is coincidentally my friend too.

He’s made conclusions but as the submitter said in the comments…

let’s just wait for both sides to speak before giving comments that is really not proven.

I just want to clear out that the idea to compile a list of young bloggers is a project I’ve started a long time ago. In fact, I’ve registered the domain a little over a year now and posted a job listing on Elance about 3-4 months ago.

Here’s a screenshot of a private message I sent to a developer on elance.

I am sad that this had to happen exactly on Christmas and I feel sorry for the complication that we had the same project.

    Carl,

Someone once said me that, “If you’re not pissing someone off, you’re not doing enough”:-)

I think the list is great and an inspiration to everyone, regardless of their age.

The real value of the Internet is that it really has leveled the playing field and, no matter your age or ethnic makeup, or where you live, or your level of education, you can follow your heart and live the life of your dreams.

  2. I would´t beat yourself up about it.

In my eyes one more similar blog won´t matter. Both you and the other person have managed to bring to the fore the fact that it is possible even from a very early age to have a great presence online.

I for one found it very uplifting and it has made me even more detemined to succeed in my own small way.

my best wishes to you for the coming year

    Thanks for the support guys.

It just bugs me though because he’s my friend and I feel sorry that we lost our friendship simply because of this misunderstanding.

    Hi Carl.

I never submitted my details to you. How did I get on the list?

I think you should talk to Michael and try to work something out together.

  6. I own ThomasSinfield.com, but havnt blogged there in months, and definately didnt submit to your list. So Im not sure how you found me AND how you worked my age out to be 17 :P

  7. Happy New Year Carl!
I was really surprised there are so many young bloggers who make money online!
    Cool!

First of all I am a little bit disappointed. I filled out the form twice but it said something like “You are older than 18″, although I was born August 20th, 1991, which makes me 17. Then, the third time I tried, it seemed to work. Do you have to accept something? Because I don’t show up although there was no error…

    See you.

    Carl,

In the development of a more advanced technologi not know the age restriction. But far more at a young age has been able to change the world. You are one of them.
